The Deal
We’ve been asked about a package deal or theme club for our Thesis skins before which is something we have considered but never implemented. We would like to better gauge the interest in this type of service among our customers to determine if it’s something we should dedicate resources to.
What is a theme club?
A theme club is a monthly subscription service that for a recurring monthly fee gives you access to a whole catalog of skins. You also get access to all future skins that are added to the club for as long as you are a member.
This type is service is great for developers and for customers that are always on the look out for new skins to use on their sites.
How much does it cost?
Nothing set in stone yet but it would be similar to the pricing offered by other popular WordPress theme clubs.
For example:
Personal: $100 one time fee + $15 per month: Access to all current and future skins and updates, access to support forums, allows use on an unlimited amount of domains that you personally own ie: You can’t use the skins for client projects.
Developer: $175 one time fee + $25 per month: Access to all current and future skins and updates, access to support forums, gives you access to PSDs and allows you to use skins on an unlimited amount of your domains and your clients domains.
